    Equipment and Setup Requirements

To provide optimal performance and protection of our high-end luxury gear, the following requirements must be met:

    Shade Covering/Sun Protection:

  • If the event will be in direct sunlight, adequate shade covering or sun protection must be provided to prevent equipment from overheating.

    Power Outlets:

  • The setup area must be near power outlets to make sure all equipment functions properly.

  • For the ceremony, a power outlet or extension cord within 25 to 50 feet of the setup location is appreciated if available.

    Table and Seating:

  • A 6-foot table and 2 chairs must be provided for the DJ setup.

    Access and Setup Time:

The Music:

  • We provide music suggestions in the app for each section of your event.

The App:

  • You will receive the music planning app immediately following our “Initial Music Planning Meeting”.

  • I will text you a link to download the app and start planning.

Music Deadline:

  • The app locks 28 days prior to your wedding day.

  • You can still add songs and make changes to the timeline up until 7-10 days before the wedding. Reach out to me and I will unlock it for 48 hours.

  • This ensures that we have everything correct and prevents last-minute changes.

Example Scenario:

  • If we're two days out from the wedding and you want to change the first dance song, you'll need to reach out as the app will be locked to ensure we have everything prepared.

Enjoy planning and get ready for an unforgettable celebration!

Best regards,

11 TIPS FOR PLANNING

THE PERFECT PARTY

  1. Centralize the Couple’s Location: Your guests will naturally follow where you are. If you’re on the dance floor, the crowd will be too.

  2. Trust the Timeline: Provide the order of events without rigid timings. Let our experienced DJs manage the flow.

  3. Consider Seating for Older Guests: Avoid placing older guests too close or directly in front of the speakers to ensure their comfort.

  4. Position the DJ Strategically: Ensure the DJ is in a visible spot near the dance floor to gauge and interact with the crowd effectively.

  5. Optimize Dance Floor Lighting: Dimmer lighting enhances the dance atmosphere. Use dimmers for chandeliers and ambient lights.

  6. Locate Bar and Photo Booth Wisely: Place these attractions in the main room near the DJ to keep guests engaged and near the dance floor.

  7. Curate a Balanced Music Playlist: Choose songs that reflect both your tastes and those of your guests to keep everyone entertained.

  8. Maintain Musical Momentum: Aim to leave guests wanting more. It’s not necessary to entertain until the very end of the night.

  9. Simplify Your Song Selection: Provide us with 20-30 favorite songs and a few you’d prefer to exclude. We'll handle the rest, ensuring a seamless musical experience.

  10. Manage Toasts Effectively: Limit toasts to 5 minutes per person and a maximum of 4 speakers to keep the celebration lively.

  11. Schedule the First Dance Wisely: Perform the first dance right after introductions and consider shortening parent dances to maintain the evening’s momentum.
